A common question that's asked is; what came first? The chicken or the egg? This makes people ponder; "Well, the chicken as to lay the egg right? Although, who laid that chicken that laid the egg?" The same concept comes along with Structuralism. What came first? The word or the idea?
There is a huge difference between men and women. How men act and think is completely different from how women act and think. Men always complain how they don't understand women, and there has to be some kind of secret code to figure out what we mean. There is a little example to prove that sometimes men are right. But only sometimes.
Another example of Structuralism, is the understand of word meanings for different people.
But other times, words can be funny when used in a different context than what we expect.
